DEATHS

HOPKINS -- Monday afternoon, July 3, 1911, at 4:30 o'clock at the family residence, on South Moore street, Rev. Andrew K. HOPKINS, aged 81 years.

Death came after an illness of only one week and was due to his advanced age and the torpid weather, which has caused him much suffering. For about fifteen years he was an active minister of the United Brethren faith but retired thirty years ago. For the past twenty years he has been a resident of Ottumwa. He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. David ALBRIGHT, Mrs. Martin LEONARD, Mrs. James MORRISON, Mrs. Nancy SPEARS, all of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Will WINDSOR and Mrs. Mattie STEWART, of Denver Colo. One son William HOPKINS of Agency also survives.

The funeral services will be announced later.

FUNERALS

The last sad rites over the remains of Rev. Andrew K. HOPKINS, who died Monday afternoon, were held this morning at 9:30 o'clock at the residence on South Moore street conducted by Rev. W. H. HORMEL pastor of the East End Presbyterian church. The remains were taken to Agency where interment was made.
