Mrs. Grayce Laughlin

ELDON - Mrs. Grayce Laughlin, 77, died at 8:45 a.m. today at Ottumwa Hospital where she had been a patient for several weeks.

She was born Aug. 23, 1886, in Van Buren County, the daughter of Richard and Mattie Minner Green. She was the wife of the late Herman Laughlin. Their marriage took place March 1, 1905. They had farmed in the community northeast of Douds for many years. She had been in Eldon since her husband's death in 1955.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joe Black of Eldon; one son, Carlis of Spencer, S.D.; one sister, Mrs. D.E. Morris of Bloomfield; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were one son in infancy, two sisters and two brothers.

The service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon. Burial will be in Fell Cemetery near Libertyville.
