MRS. MARY BRUMLEY BOYLAN

Mrs. Mary A. Boylan, 86, died at 610 Wabash avenue, Ottumwa, at 4:30 a.m. Jan. 27, 1942.

The daughter of John and Louisa Arnold, she was born in Ohio May 30, 1855. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for 12 years.

Mrs. Boylan is a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wilda Bradley of Corning and Mrs. Alta Elliott of Kearney, Neb., three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Warner of Fairfield, Mrs. Clara Hall of Stockport, and Mrs. Ada Howard of Ottumwa. Also surviving are six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Johnson funeral home, conducted by Rev. C.R. Reed of the Willard Stree Methodist church. Burial in the Evergreen cemetery at Birmingham.
