Longtime Resident Is Dead At Age 71
Mrs. Rosa May Randall, 71, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hoyt Ward, 518 Burrhus St., at 4:15 AM today. Forty-one years she had lived in Ottumwa, 29 of which was a member of The Finley Ave., Baptist Church. She was the daughter of Lewis and Pharinda Lowe and was born in Wapello November 8, 1864. She was a member of the Woodman circle. She was married to Alonzo Randall November 5, 1888. Surviving are her husband, Alonzo; one daughter, Mrs. Ward of Ottumwa; two brothers, Warren Lowe and Harvey Lowe of Ottumwa, and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents and three children. Short funeral services will be held at the home, 518 Burrhus St., Monday at 1:30 PM and at The Finley Ave., Baptist Church at 2 PM, conducted by the Rev. Luther Childs of Centerville, assisted by the Rev. J. Lewis Bowser. Burial would be made in the Shaul cemetery.
