Ottumwa Courier April 29, 1936

Samson Jerry Jones, two day old son of Mr. and Mrs. Samson Jones, 2026 Roemer St., died at the home Tuesday at 7 PM. He survived by his parents; one sister, Georgia Faye and a brother Arthur Du Wayne all at home and his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Samson Jones of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Harmon of Ottumwa. Short funeral services were to be held at Johnson's funeral Chapel at 4 PM today conducted by the Rev. A. D. McClure. Burial be made in the Memorial Lawn cemetery.
