Mrs. Anna Holiday, 71, widow of George E. Holiday, died at her home, 733 Boone Ave., Monday at 11:55 PM. She was the daughter of James S. and Mary Ellis and was born in Bentonsport, January 12, 1865. She had lived in Ottumwa for the last 44 years. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Bonita Miller of Ottumwa; three sons, Clarence and James of Ottumwa and Charles of Mount Pleasant; one sister, Mrs. Clara Shriver of Newton, Kansas; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Johnson's funeral Chapel Tuesday at 3 PM conducted by the Rev. J. Lewis Bowser. Burial will be made in Shaul cemetery. The body will be taken to the residence Wednesday at 5 PM and returned to the chapel Thursday noon.
