Ottumwa Courier April 6, 1936

Milton A. Talbott, 67, 119 N. Madison Avenue, died at St. Joseph's hospital at 8:35 AM today. He was the son of Melville and Mary Talbott and was born near Agency, October 14, 1868. He had lived in Ottumwa for the last 22 years. He had been a John Morrell & Co. employee for the last 20 years. Surviving are his wife, Lora Mae, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Ethel Shields of Atarque, New Mexico, Mrs. Grace Stiles of Ottumwa, Mrs. Ona Agee of Centerville, and Alma and Norma Talbott, both at home; two sons, Melville of Ottumwa and Paul of Peoria, Illinois; five sisters, Mrs. Phrona Chenot of Hobart, Oklahoma, Mrs. Louise Russell and Mrs. Lora Russell both of California, and Mrs. Anna Ireland of Mahala Lanning of Chicago, Mrs. Cherokee; one brother Thomas Talbott of Rexford, Kansas; eight grandchildren, and one great grandson. Friends may call at Johnson's funeral Chapel pending completion of funeral arrangements.
