Ottumwa Courier April 6, 1936

William J. Brummel, 64, was found dead Saturday morning at his home in Albia, according to word received here by Mrs. H. C. Baker and Mrs. J. M. Hendricks, nieces of Mrs. Brummell. He was a section foreman of the Wabash Railroad of Albia. Surviving besides his wife, the former Ada Bengston of Ottumwa is one stepson, Drummond Grooms, Albia. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 PM at the Allen & Lewis funeral home in Albia. Burial be made in the Shaul cemetery here.
