Ottumwa Courier April 2, 1936

Mrs. Mary Hendrickson, 63, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. A. Mowery, 317 N. Sheridan Ave. at 2:30 PM Wednesday. She was born November 18, 1873, and Memphis Missouri, the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Worth. For the last 25 years she had been a resident of Ottumwa. Surviving are her husband, Don Hendrickson, Ottumwa; two daughters, Mrs. Ernst Vossier and Mrs. Mowery both of Ottumwa; one son W. T. Hendrickson, Rock Island, Illinois, and four sisters, Mrs. A. Hinzman of Kansas City, Mrs. W. R. Phares of Centerville, Mrs. Maggie Barley and Mrs. Lou Cosner, both of Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday at the Lester Jay funeral home, conducted by the Rev. David Crockett. Burial be made in the Memorial Lawn cemetery. The casket will be closed at 2 PM Friday. Pallbearers will be L. J. Roemer, Kenneth Mowery, Dr. Harley Stevenson, Otis Dean, Lawrence Swenson and Charles O. Warren.
