R. Ware, 92, Civil War Vet, Dies.
Reuben Ware, 92, Civil War veteran, died at the home of his son Ray, in Moulton, at 12:30 AM today. Mr. Ware had been a resident of Ottumwa until February 13, 1936. He was a member the Third Iowa Cavalry, Troop E, in the Civil War. Prior to his moving to the home of his son, he had been a resident of Ottumwa for 29 years, living on AltaVista Avenue. Surviving are two sons, Ray of Moulton and Elmer of Bloomfield. His wife Lavina preceded him in death, February 6, 1936. Funeral services will be held Monday at Johnson's funeral Chapel at 2 PM conducted by the Rev. Eugene C. Beach. Burial be in the Ottumwa cemetery.
