February 22, 1977Mrs. Flinspach's Father Succumbs
A.E. Shoemaker, 77, of Ottumwa, father of Mrs. Fredric Flinspach, Route 4, died Tuesday night at Ottumwa Hospital. He had been in failing health for a year and a half.
The family home is at 1335 North Elm. Services are pending in Ottumwa.
Besides Mrs. Flinspach, he is survived by his widow, one son, Tom Shoemaker of Illinois and six grandchildren.
He was a retired employe of the Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric Company of Ottumwa.
