MRS. MARY WHELAN

Mrs. Mary Whelan 69, a long time resident of Ottumwa died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday at Grinstead nursing home, 118 N. Jefferson.

Daughter of Ebert and Cora Munson Dixon. She was born March 26, 1880.

Survivors include a son Fred Dixon Whelan of Chicago, a grandaughter and a sster; Mrs. Weddell of San Diego, Ca. She was proceeded in death by her husband Joe, three brothers and a sster.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Johnson funeral home in charge of Mrs. Jennie Davis.

Eugene Joseph Whelan (1893 - 1967)*

*Johnson funeral gives place of burial at Ottumwa Cemetery instead of Calvary.
