Rev. Herman Bongers
The Rev. Herman V. Bongers, 69, of the Kahl Home in Davenport, died Wednesday at the home. He was born and reared in Ottumwa where he atteded the Catholic schools.He is survived by one sister, Mrs. C. T. Collins of Tucson, Ariz.

The service will be Friday at 3 p.m. at the Kahl Memorial Home, A Rosary will be said tonight at 8 o'clock at the Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home in Davenport. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Ottumwa.
