Wednesday, November 10, 1976Orville Davis Dies At 64
OTTUMWA - Orville Clifford Davis, 64, Ottumwa Route 3, died Tuesday morning at St. Joseph Hospital here. A farmer and seed company territory manager, he formerly lived in the Packwood and Farson areas.
Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Fremont Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Byron Newland officiating. Burial will be in McCormick Cemetery.
Davis was born Sept. 13, 1912 in Camden County, Mo., the son of Walter and Zona Pope Davis. He was married March 21, 1936 to Edith Bull.
Surviving are his widow and one brother, Lee Davis, Fairfield.
