Mrs. Lucy Grubbs
Mrs. Lucy Ann Grubbs, 62, wife of William Downey Grubbs, 505 Ellis Ave., died at the St. Joseph hospital Thursday at 2 PM. She was the daughter of Robert and Pricey Wilson and was born in Texas, October 19, 1873. She had lived here for the last 30 years. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Verna E. Grubbs, Laramie Wyoming, and Mrs. Nina Tinney, Pasadena, California; one son, William Hal Grubbs of Iowa City; one brother, John Wilson of Ottumwa; one sister, Mrs. Eliza Riggs, and one granddaughter, Roberta Spear of Pasadena California. Funeral plans have not been made.
