When a young Iowa fisherman and hunter 25 years ago, Dr. Boone took up the study has a hobby. In recent years, it was his efforts mainly brought about the establishment of the commission Iowa. With the formation of the State Fish and Game commission and this state in 1931, Dr. Boone was unanimously named chairman of that body for four years. When the consolidation the commission with the conservation commission came in January 1935, Dr. Boone was reappointed for six more years.
