William Bowers, 72, died at the home of his son Parke W. Bowers, 116 East Fifth St., Friday at 9:45 PM. Besides his wife, Mary Bowers, he is survived by one son, Parke Bowers, Ottumwa; one daughter, Mrs. Erma Downs, Wapello; two brothers, L. C. And Charles Bowers, Kent; one daughter, Mrs. Ollie Heimke Corning, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM at the Lester Jay funeral home. Burial be made in the Scott Township cemetery, Winfield.
