Longtime Resident Of City Dies
A resident of Ottumwa all her life, Mrs. P. J. McGovern, 67, 426 East Second street widow of P. T. McGovern, veteran railroad engineer, died at the Ottumwa hospital at 9 PM Wednesday. Mrs. McGovern was the former Mrs. Agnes McGlone and was born in Peoria, Illinois, May 15, 1868 daughter of William B. and Mary A. McGlone. She came to Ottumwa as an infant and has lived here since. Surviving is one brother, W. J. McGlone Des Moines. Her husband preceded her in death in 1932. The body will remain at the Vaughan funeral Chapel pending completion of funeral arrangements.
