Ottumwa Courier January 8, 1936

Miss Nan Currey, youngest daughter Mrs. Thomas Curry, 116 N. Jefferson St., died at 7:10 PM Tuesday at her home. Miss Currey spent her entire life in Ottumwa coming here as an infant from Pottsville, Pennsylvania. She had suffered from heart trouble for the last 10 years. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Thomas Currey; two sisters, Mrs. Sue Simmonds of Quincy, Illinois and Mrs. Margaret Gallagher at home; two brothers, Frank at home and Tom of Omaha, Nebraska; two nieces, Mrs. Johanna Simmonds of Quincy, Illinois and Mrs. Dorothy Frazier of Chicago; one nephew, Robert Gallagher at home, and a grandnephew. Her father and brother, Joseph, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Friday at 8:30 AM at the home and nine o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Right Rev. Msgr. J. M. Walsh, V. F. will celebrate the Requiem high mass. Burial be made in the Calvary cemetery.
