Native Son Of Wapello County Dies At The Ottumwa Hospital.
Oscar Eugene Hendricks, 75, 710 Wabash Ave., died at the Ottumwa hospital at 1:05 AM today. He was a son of Samuel and Sarah Hendricks and was born in Wapello County, June 27th, 1860. He had lived in this vicinity all of his life. He was a brick mason and a member of the B. M. and P. I. U. local No. 9. Surviving are his wife Bertha; four daughters, Mrs. Blanche Brown, Mrs. Ethel Pound and Mrs. Hazel Round all of Des Moines, and Mrs. Geraldine Huntley of Ottumwa; one son, Harold M. Hendricks of Ottumwa; two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Conwell of Albia and Mrs. J. T. Bohe of Glendale, California; two brothers, E. H. Hendricks of Chicago and Udell Hendricks of Pella, and nine grandchildren. Friends may call at Johnson's funeral Chapel awaiting completion of funeral arrangements.
