Mrs. Anna Marie Rockwell, 80 of Denver, Colorado died at 9:30 a.m. today at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. DeMonte Baker, 416 North Court street. She was born in Ottumwa, October 21, 1869, the daughter of Nicholas and Josephine Wachtler, pioneers of the area. Besides Mrs. Baker, she is survived by a son, Edwin J. Rockwell, Denver, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard N. Rockwell and by 12 brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the trinity Episcopal Church in charge of the Rev. H.R. Fell pastor. The body will remain at the Traul funeral home until 1:15 p.m. Monday, when it will be taken to the church. The casket will not be opened at the church. After the service the body will be sent to the Olinger mortuary at Denver and burial will be in Denver.
