The Reverend George Forrest Davis 47, of 235 South Moore street, died suddenly at his home today at 9 a.m. He was the son of George and Alverda Davis and was born here July 28, 1899 where he has lived all his life. He was a state representative of T.N.S.A. He was married to Willa Mae Snelling, November 17, 1928. Surviving are his wife and parents and one brother, Clyde E. Davis of Queen City Mo. He was preceded in death by one sister in infancy and one brother, Fred. The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel awaiting completion of funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for the Rev. George Forrest Davis who died Monday at his home, 235 S. Moore street, will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of A.O Smith. Pallbearers will be Alex Hannam, Russell Fresh, Jack Smith, M.L. Burns, Sam Erhardt and Harold Sample. Burial will be in the Shaud cemetery. The family requests no flowers be sent.
