Albert Wood, 79 of 707 Richmond avenue, died at his home Saturday at 7 p.m. He was the son of John T. and Amanda Compton Wood and was born in Wapello county January 17, 1867. He lived in this county all his life and has lived in Ottumwa for the past 30 years. He was a member of the Pentecostal church. Surviving are his wife Ida, and two adopted daughters, Mrs. Eva Shaffer of California and Mrs. Margaret Sales of Ottumwa. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a. m. at the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. A.D. Mcdlure. Burial will be in the Shaul cemtery. Nephews will serve as the pall bearers.
