William J. CRAFT, a pioneer resident of Wapello county, passed away Sunday at the Chatfield nursing home in Ottumwa.

He was born Feburary 2, 1868 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvainia and came to Iowa, with his parents, while an infant. The family made their home on a farm four miles southwest of Hedrick where he stayed until a little over a year ago.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Traul funeral home in Ottumwa. Burial was made in the Brooks cemetery near Hedrick.
