Obit. for Mrs. Charlotte Hammond

Mrs. Charlotte, wife of Ross L. Hammond, age 68 years, died at the family home, Church Street in Eldon this morning at 1:55 o'clock. She was a resident of Iowa and Wapello County all her life and is survived by her husband, one son Harry L., two brothers James King of this city and George of Villisca and one sister Anna Stoos of Des Moines. She was past Grand Rachael of the Rebekah lodge of Eldon. The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home, Rev. L.A. Britton officiating. At 4:30 o'clock the remains will be taken to Davenport and burial will take place in the family lot at Oakdale Cemetery.
