NELLIE BLANCHE (SELIX) KING was born at Unionville, Iowa May 5, 1889. Died at Ottumwa Hospital May 4, 1917 at 28 years of age. She was the wife of Ross King. Her mother preceded her in death when she was 7 years old. The family was reared by an older sister and her grandparents. Besides her husband, she leaves 2 small children, Wilma 7 and Claudine 9, her father, 4 sisters, 2 brothers, a nephew whom she raised from infancy and her grandparents. She was ready at anytime to help those in need. She was converted when a small child and at the time of her death was a faithful member of the Baptist Church at Bunch, Iowa.
