DIES IN NEW MEXICO
Word Received Here Announcing the Death of Former Ottumwan

Mrs. Kate Sweeney, who resides on Church street in South Ottumwa, has received word announcing the death of her husband, William Sweeney, at Gallop, N. M. where Mr. Sweeney has been working for several months. He intended coming home next week, but early in the month he suffered an attack of pneumonia, which caused his death February 8. He leaves a wife and three sons, William, John and James, all of whom reside in South Ottumwa.
