Ottumwa -- Louise Isabella Knox, 94, formerly of 131 W. Alta Vista died at 6:30 p.m. Sept 16, 1992 at Ottumwa Manor.

She was born Feb 12, 1898 in Ottumwa to Herbert Chisholm and Alma Schworm Fletcher. She married John F. Knox on Dec. 14, 1916 in Ottumwa. He died Feb 1, 1991.

She was a retired milliner and a homemaker. She was a member of East End Presbyterian Church, charter member of Hope Circle King Daughters and Women’s Club.

She is survived by three sons, James F. Sr. of Blakesburg., John “Jack” Jr. of Ottumwa and William H. of Sierra Vista Ariz.; two daughters, Dorothy Fields of Boulder, Colo., and Rosemary McCauley of Colorado Spring, Colo.; 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

The service will be 2: p.m. Sunday at Shrine of Memories Funeral Home in Ottumwa, the Rev. David McCann of East End Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Shrine of Memories Mausoleum in Ottumwa.

Open visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday and after 11:30 a.m. Sunday until service time.

Memorials may be made to her church.
