Mina L. Collett 93, of 510 East Finley Avenue died at 2:40 p.m. at St. Joseph Hospital.

She was born July 30, 1891, in Wapello County Iowa to William & Mary Abraham Hartley. A resident of Ottumwa all her life, she Married John "Jack" Collett on Nov. 30, 1922. He died March 30, 1965.

She is survived by two daughters; Gretchen Saffell and Betty Rash both of Ottumwa; seven grandchildren; 15 great~grandchildren, and two great~great~grandsons.

The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Reece Funeral Home, with the Rev. William Taylor of the Bible Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Shaul Cemetery.
