Mary G. Sanford 91, formerly of 195 North Court died Sep. 27, 1982 at Quaker Heights Nursing Home in Waynesville, Ohio.

She was born June 9, 1891 in Ottumwa to James and Anna Martin Morlock. She lived in Ottumwa all her life until moving to Ohio two years ago.

She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy and St. Mary's Church. She was a former member of Milwaukee Women's Club and St. Joseph's Hospital Auxillary. She married John Sanford in 1929. He died in 1957.

Survivors: one son John Sanford of Lebanon, Ohio; daughter Mary Ann Papet of Los Angeles, Calif.; ten grandchildren and a brother Raymond Morlock of Champaign, Illinois.

Memorial service: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Church with the Rev. Martin Wieber officiating at the Mass of Resurrection.

Burial: Calvary Cemetery. The body has been cremated. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Reece funeral home.
