Mrs. Mary Hudson 59, wife of Numan Hudson of 953 Ray Street died at Ottumwa hospital Sunday at 1:25 p.m.

She was the daughter of James Matthew Phillips and Mary Elizabeth McDermott and was born in Athens, Ohio Nov. 23, 1880. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for the last 30 years.

Surviving are her husband; son Riley of Buffalo, four grandchildren; Robert, Jack, Numan Hudson; all of Buffalo; mother Mary Elizabeth Phillips of Ottumwa, Henry Phillips of Ottumwa and Mrs. Clara Harland and Mrs. Anna Lanigan of Ottumwa.

Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Johnson funeral home conducted by the Rev. Charles. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery
