OTTUMWA - Susanne Wolf Whitney, 46, of 601 Spring, died April 21, 2004, at home.
She was born Dec. 17, 1957 to Walter and Edith Bruhn Wolf at Frankfurt, Germany. She married Gregory Whitney Feb. 20, 1999 at Ottumwa.
She moved from West Germany in 1985.

She had been a Water Safety Instructor and worked at Meyers Home Improvement until her disability forced her to leave. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church and Indian Hills Community College. A loving Mother, Wife and Friend.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Stephen W. and Grant H. Troxel, both of Ottumwa; step son, Jeremiah Whitney of Ottumwa; daughter, Kristen Troxel of Ottumwa; step daughters, Taita, Laura Killishandra "Kissy", and Jessica Whitney, all of Ottumwa; a granddaughter; and two sisters, Dagmar Kurt of Brachtel, Germany and Kirsten Wolf of Bad Orb, Germany.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
The body has been cremated.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Robertson-Jay Funeral Home with Rev. John D. Spiegel and Bishop Kenneth Duker officiating.

Visitation will begin noon Sunday at the funeral home with the family present 3 to 5 p.m.
