OTTUMWA ? Helen G. Harnden, 96, of Good Samaritan Nursing and Rehab Center, died at 11:15 p.m. January 22, 2007 at Good Samaritan Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born March 11, 1910 in Kirkville to Edwin and Bessie May Parks Belford. She married Oliver R. Pete Harnden July 9, 1942 in Papillion, Neb. He preceded her in death February 26, 1993.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Social Order of Beauceants #9 and Wapello White Shrine #4.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Belford and a sister, Lorene Anderson.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Lippert officiating.
Entombment will be in Shrine of Memories Mausoleum.
Visitation will be open at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
