George W. Houdyshell 52, former Ottumwan now living in Rock Island, ILL died at 1:10 today at the home of his sister Mrs. J. O. Ford 320 Randolph Street.
He enlisted in WW I in 1914 and was discharged in June of 1920.
Survivors include a wife Katie Myers Houdyshell; a son James F. Houdyshell of Rock Island, ILL; a brother Robert R. Of Ottumwa; two sisters Mrs. Jennie Shocklie of Creston, and Mrs. Jessie Ford of Ottumwa, and a cousin Mrs. C.F. Stephens of Ottumwa.
NOTE: First husband of Katie Myers. Second husband was Mr. DeShinkle of Rock Island, Illinois.
