OTTUMWA — Raylene O. Long, 57, of Emmetsburg, Iowa and formerly of Mount Pleasant, died Monday, July 28, 2008, at the Emmetsburg Care Center.

Private family funeral services will be held.Friends may call from 12 noon at the Weir and Kimzey Funeral Home, 213 N. Main St., Mount Pleasant. The family will be present to receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday evening. The casket will remain closed.

Survivors include her father, William Long II of Mount Pleasant; two sisters, Darla Jackson of Ottumwa and Deanna Loving of Mount Pleasant; two brothers, William D. Long III and Dwight “Tete” Long, both of Davenport; one uncle; seven nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and nephews.

Her mother; one aunt; and one uncle precede Raylene in death.Memorials may be directed to Shirner’s Children’s Hospitals.
