FORMER OTTUMWAN WAS SHOT TO DEATH
The body of Ramona Jean Martz 24, will be returned to Ottumwa for funeral services and burial.

Relatives here say she was shot to death Saturday morning in Los Angeleswhere she went seven years ago.No other details have been learned here.

She was born October 6, 1930 in Ottumwa; the daughter of Richard H. and Marion Martz of Ottumwa; who survive. Other survivoors are two brothers, and one sister Judy Ann Martz and Donald Martz; both of Ottumwa, and Robert Martz of Wales, Minn. She is also survived by a grandfather Amos Martz of Ottumwa Route 2.

Funeral services for Ramona Jean, the daughter of Richard and Marian Martz of 601 Wabash Ave.; who was shot to death in Los Angeles will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Laverne Morris officiating the service.

Pallbearers will be Paul Matthew, Robert Matthew, William Collins, Vernon Brumley, and Ernest Leonard. Burial will be in memorial Lawn Cemetery.

*Johnson Funeral home book says that Ramona was divorced.
