MRS. Harvey Gilman

Mrs. Bonnie R. Gilman 75 of 934 Pershing died Saturday at 1:40 p.m. at Ottumwa Hospital. She had been in failing health for two years.

The daughter of William and Anna Dickerson, she was born July 10, 1890 in Wapello County and was a resident of the county all of her life.

Her marriage to Harvey Gilman took place in Ottumwa in 1907. He died in 1943. She was a member of the the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors are a son William of Ottumwa; two grandchildren; William E. Gilman of Ottumwa and Mrs. Richard Hartley (Becky) of Williamsburg; four brothers Raymond Dickerson of Des Moines, Weedon Dickerson of Ottumwa, Charles Dickerson of Washington D.C., and Frank Dickerson of Minneapolis, Minn.; and three sisters; Mrs. Mabel Raymond of Fullerton, Ca., Mrs. Cecil Fuqua of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Dorothy Cole of Newton. In addition to her husband; a brother and sister preceded her in death.

The services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Jay Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clifford Cannon officiating. Burial will be at Shaul Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gerald Martin, Jess Jacquinot, Louis White, Earl Yates, Claude Hughes, and Harry Keck.
