John J. Miller 82; formerly of Ottumwa died at 1:20 A.M. Friday at Hartley, Iowa at the home of his daughter Mrs. William Burgeson. Besides Mrs. Burgeson; he is survived by another daughter Mrs. C.W. Mountain of Rock Island, ILL.; a Foster daughter Mrs. Lloyd Eslinger of Ottumwa, a son John Miller of Ottumwa, and eleven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth in 1935 and by a daughter Lottie.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. monday at Johnson funeral home. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. The body will arrive in Ottumwa Sunday noon and will be taken to the Johnson Chapel.
