William F. Hunter 68 of Blakesburg died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Orval Garrison of 249 South Davis Street this morning.

Mr. Hunter was born in Hopewell Nov. 15, 1871 to Jonathand and Sarah E. Hunter. He had lived in the same vacinity all his life.

Surviving are his wife Laura Hunter of Blakesburg; daughters Mrs. Ruth Sylvester and Mrs. Lela Garrison of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Lora Williams of Bloomfield; son Chester Hunter of Blakesburg; six grandchildren; brothers L.L. Hunter of Ottumwa and John H. Hunter of LaVerne, California. He was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

Services will be held Friday at 12:30 p.m. in the Garrison home; 249 South Davis Street and at 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell Church. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery.
