OTTUMWA — Barbara Jean Gullett, 74, of 617 E. Williams, passed away April 4, 2008, at her home in Ottumwa.

She was born Dec. 21, 1933, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa to Everett S. and Georgia G. Davis Dunham. She married Larry D. Gullett Aug. 5, 1950. He preceded her in death Dec. 24, 2002.She retired in 1993 from South Ottumwa Savings Bank after 23 years of service. She was a member of O.B. Nelson Unit #3 American Legion Auxiliary for 16 years and Walter B. Schafer Post #775 Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary for 15 years.

Surviving are four sons, Steve R. Gullett, Jeff L. Gullett and Mike E. (Tammy) Gullett all of Ottumwa and Craig A. (Sarah) Gullett of Des Moines; seven grandchildren, Ray Gullett, Kristi Gullett, Sean Gullett, Jesse Gullett, Stacey Gullett, Dianna Burchett and Joy Gullett; a great-grandson, Tarren Gullett.She was preceded in death by an infant son, Ronald Lee Gullett; and two brothers, Everett Jr. and Jack E. Dunham.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Bill Payne officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.Pallbearers will be Steve R. Gullett, Craig A. Gullett, Jeff L. Gullett, Mike E. Gullett, Sean Gullett and Charlie Stufflebeem.Memorials may be made to Hospice, 312 E. Alta Vista, Ottumwa, Iowa 52501.
