Mrs. Lucy Ann Parks 76 of 106 E. 3rd Street died at the St. Joseph Hospital Tuesday at 8:50 p.m. She had been ill for a number of years.

The widow of Johnathan Parks, who died in 1931. Mrs. Parks was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Nunamaker Sinniff and was born August 30, 1862 at Kirkville.

Surviving are four daughters; Bertha, Mrs. Bessie Balford and Mrs. Grace Humble of Otumwa and Mrs. Margaret Kelso of Springfield, ILL.; eight grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Kirkville Methodist Episcopal church and a member of R.N.E. No. 1014.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Kirkville Methodist Episcopal church conducted by the Rev. Orville Smith of Ottumwa. Burial will be in Kirkville Cemetery.

The body will remain at the Lester Jay Funeral home until Thursday noon.
