Mrs. Catherine Moriarty 90, widow of John Moriarty died Sunday at 2:30 am at her home noth of the city.

Mrs, Moriarty was born in Wexford, Ireland and came to America when she was 17 years old. She had lived in Ottumwa for the last 56 years.

Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Charles Glentzer of Pueblo, Co, and Mrs. Thomas Larkin of Ottumwa route 4; two sons; Maurice and Edward of Ottumwa and 16 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and two children.

Services will be held Tuesday at 8:30 am at the home of her son Maurice 113 South Willard Street and 9:00 am at St. Patricks Church. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. Members of the church parish will meet at the home of Maurice at 8:00 pm. to recite the rosary.
