Edward M. Moriarty 80 of Hotel Ottumwa died there Friday during the night. He was a Milwaukee Railroad conductor and retired in 1960.
He was born August 13, 1892 at Dudley to John and Kate Moriarty.He had been a resident of Ottumwa for most of his life. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the Brotherhood of Railway Trailman.
He is survived by thirteen nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and two sisters.
The service will be Tuesday at 10 am at St Patrick's church. Burial will be at Calvary cemetery.
Milwaukee Railroad men will be the pallbearers.
