Larry Moll, 65, Ottumwa
OTTUMWA — Larry Thomas Moll, 65, of Burlington, Iowa, died Monday, July 16, 2007, at Great River Medical Center.

Born July 2, 1942 in Ottumwa, Iowa, he was the son of Dan and Betty Orman Moll. On July 30, 1970 he married Janet “Jan” Whisler in Ottumwa.

Mr. Moll was a graduate of Walsh High School in Ottumwa. He was a Navy Veteran. Mr. Moll worked on the Mississippi Swing Bridge for BNSF Railroad for 38 years, retiring in 2002. Mr. Moll loved to golf and was a member of Flint Hills Golf Course.

Survivors include his wife, Jan Moll of Burlington; two sons, Charles (Tina) Garr, Jr. and Billie H. Garr both of Burlington; two daughters, Roxanne (Tom) Duffy of Stronghurst, Ill. and Kim (Buddy) Winheim of Kansas City, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margie (Dick) Stagers and Joyce Callas both of Ottumwa; uncle, Jerry (Helen) Orman of Des Moines, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents preceded him in death.

According to his wishes, the body of Mr. Moll has been cremated and there will be no visitation or services.

A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society.

Lunning Chapel, Burlington, was in charge of arrangements.
