Donald Trowell, 57, Ottumwa

OTTUMWA — Donald James Trowell, 57, of 827 Albia Rd., died at 6:45 p.m. July 19, 2007, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

He was born Aug. 30, 1949 in Ottumwa to James W. and Mae Viola Mulgrave Trowell.

A resident of Ottumwa all of his life, he had worked for the city of Ottumwa and the Ottumwa Courier. He was a member of Ottumwa Baptist Temple.

Surviving are three cousins, Shirley Roach of Des Moines, Beverly Richmond of Galesburg, Ill. and Betty Beadke of Keota.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Thomas Trowell.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Ottumwa Baptist Temple with Rev. Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Iowaville Cemetery.

Visitation will be open at noon Sunday at Reece Funeral Home.
