Mrs. Josephine Ryan of 345 North McLean street, wife of the late John H. died at her home at 12:15 a.m. today after a long illness.

She is survived by one daughter; Mrs. Mary Zlogar of Ottumwa; three sons; Earl Ryan of Chicage and Dr. Joseph P. Ryan, and Francis Ryan of Ottumwa; one sister Miss Mary McGrath of Ottumwa, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Vaughn funeral chapel Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. and 9:.. a.m. at St. Mary's church where a requiem high mass will be celebrated by the Rev.Msg. J.M. Walsh. V.F. burial will be at Calvary cemetery.
