BLAKESBURG~Cora Hazel Chisman 90 of Blakesburg died May 2 at 4:49 p.m at St. Joseph's hospital.

She was born Dec. 1, 1890 to Robert and Julia Barzee Johnston. She was a member Blakesburg Methodist Church and was a charter member of the Rural Letter Carriers Auzillixary. She married Paul A. Chisman Dec. 9, 1917 in Blakesburg.

Survivors: Her husband; a son Curtis of Cherokee, a daughter Shirley Krause of Galesburg, ILL., and five grandchildren.

Services: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at her church, the Rev. David J. Anderson officiating; burial will be at Blakesburg Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Stanford Warner, Harold Allison, Paul Chisman, Gordon Johnston, Paul Krause, and Ronald Chisman.

The casket will remain at Johnson's funeral chapel until 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, when it will be taken to the church and closed as the service begins.
