— OTTUMWA ? June Haley Winger, 66, of 98491 Rocky Bank Drive, Naples, FL 34109 and formerly of Ottumwa, Iowa and Lake Thunderhead in Missouri, died Tuesday, January 17, 2006, at home.

She was born August 17, 1939 in Madisonville, KY to Lois and M.C. Haley. She married Barney Winger June 24, 1961.

She graduated from high school in Washington, IL and graduated from Methodist School of Nursing and St. Frances School of Surgical Nursing both in Peoria, IL.

She and her husband owned Winger Contracting Co. for over 25 years. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, a recipient of Sioux Nation Niabrana Cross, a member of Daughters of American Revolution, and named Best Actress for Ottumwa Community Players. She and her husband co-chaired Iowa Junior Miss in Ottumwa for many years. She loved her plants and flowers and working in the yard.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Marie Winger of Saranac Lake, NY and Tammy Lynn Keck of Ottumwa; three grandchildren, Brian Keck, Dana Keck and Megan Keck; brother-in-law, Jim (Bobby Caldwell) Winger of Naples, FL; and her mother-in-law, Jaraldine Winger of Naples, FL.
She was preceded by her parents.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Trinity Episcopal Church with Father Richard Graves. Burial in Ottumwa Cemetery.
Family visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2006 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Robertson-Jay Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Marty Rounceville, Jim Randall, Bob Sowden, Sammy Slycord, Butch Smith and Ron Jay.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ottumwa Regional Health Foundation Courageous Journey Cancer Center, 935 Pennsylvania Ave., Ottumwa, IA 52501.
