Mrs. Roxie M. Shelton 38, wife of Floyd died at her home of 541 S. Minnesota Street Ottumwa at 11:15 Sunday.

The daughter of Edward and Jessie Downey, she was born at Eldon October 25, 1903. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for 27 years.

She was a member of the Davis St. Christian Church.

In addition to her husband; she is survived by two sons; Densel & Rex at home, her mother Mrs. Jessie Downey of Ottumwa, a sister Barbara Downey of Ottumwa, and a brother Oakley of Detroit, Michigan. Her father and one sister preceeded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. from the Davis Street christian Church. Burial will be in Bethelaham Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Glen Wisdom, Charles Holland, Frank Beall, Frank Buckley, Bert Grinstead and Raymond McKim.
