Mrs. Florence Strunk 81, of 1225 N. Wapello died today at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was born May 5, 1893 in Wapello County; daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doughlas McCarty. She was a lifelong resident of this county.

Surviving are her husband Oakle; three sons, Dover Donnelly of Des Moines and Max and Clifford Donnelly of Ottumwa; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, and one stepdaughter Gertruda Hinton of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by one son; one daughter, three sisters and one brother. Arrangements are pending at Johnson Funeral home.

The service for Mrs. Oakle Strunk 81; who died Thursday will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. James Russell of the Willard Street Methodist Church officiating. The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service. Pallbearers will be Charles Jackson, Rod Long, Kermit and Robert Donnelly, Roland Kutcher and Paul E. King.
Also surviving are two daughters; Ethel Spear of Ames, and June Donnelly of Ottumwa. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
